Wacom Intuos Pro 13 (DTK-1331) — a pen display. Supported on Windows 10 / 11 64-bit, macOS 12+.
What it does that the generic one does not
The pen display driver also registers the display device; if the display is missing in the monitor list, the driver was installed without the display component.
Checking it is the right driver
- Open the device properties and read the driver name and version rather than trusting the model name on the box.
- Print or scan one page and compare it with the same job on a second machine, if you have one.
- If the job fails only on one host, the driver on that host is the suspect, not the device.
What a generic driver leaves out
A generic driver puts a document on the page and takes it back off again. The parts of the device it usually does not reach are the scanner, the duplex path, the tray selection, and anything the manufacturer exposes only through its own package. That gap is what pages in this section are about.
Driver pages here describe what the file library expects from a device when a scan or a print job is started from it. They are not a copy of the manufacturer’s manual, and where a model has been tested against the library, the page says so on the entry itself.
